Principles that will Revolutionize your Leadership

God uses servants who are available for Him to work through. He doesn’t need your own strength and hard work to do things for Him. 

  1. There is One Leader and You are … Not It!

  2. Leadership is released through Humility

  3. Leadership is formed by Following First

  4. Leadership is modeled by Serving as Second

  5. Leadership multiplies through Disciples making Disciples 

Leadership Development is Inside-out: Spiritual, Soulish, Missional.

1. The SOURCE: Christ is the One Leader and We Receive Leadership from Him Christ is the Source of our leadership. (Matthew 23:10). He lives in us and He leads through us (Galatians 2:20) to triumph. (2 Corinthians 2:14)

SOURCE: Our leadership begins by receiving Christ as your life and allowing Him to lead through you. We are the gloves. He is the hand (the power). Christ has the authority and position of leader, we are the role of leadership for our life, family, business, and ministry. 

RELATIONSHIP: Christ did nothing on His own initiative. His leadership was derived from a relationship with the Father (John 14:10).

LIFE: Our focus is not to lead “like” Jesus, rather it is to receive His “life” and let Him lead through you. In Him you will have the victory. (John 10:10, Philippians 1:21, Colossians 3:3)

Attitudes:  Thankful. Be thankful and grateful in every circumstance. It is the simplest expression of faith and prayer. 1 Thessalonians 5:18 and Philippians 4:6-7 call us to be thankful in everything. Grace: The life of Christ is summed up by grace that is given to us. We are stewards of this grace toward others (1 Peter 4:10), especially with difficult people. (2 Timothy 2:1)

Actions:  Glorify God. Give praise, honor, and worship to God in all things. To live is Christ. (Philippians 1:21)

Stewardship. We have the responsibility of managing or stewarding the process – our motives, attitudes and handling of people. (1 Corinthians 4:2) 

2. The POWER: Leadership is Released through Humility “He must increase and I must decrease” (John 3:30).

HUMILITY: God resists the proud but gives grace to the humble. (James 4:6)
