Rob Welch
Founder & President
Rob Welch is the Founder and President of For His Glory Ministries (FHG). A proclamation evangelist with more than two decades of ministry experience, Rob has traveled the world boldly sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and inspiring others to fulfill the Great Commission.
In 2001, Rob surrendered to God's call on his life, leaving behind a successful career in sales, selling his home, and enrolling in graduate studies at Wheaton College. While participating in a prison ministry outreach in 2003, he received a distinct calling to become a proclamation evangelist. Rob earned a Master of Arts in Intercultural Studies from Wheaton College in 2004 and was ordained into ministry that same year.
Rob later served as Evangelist-in-Residence at the Billy Graham Center at Wheaton College, where God began shaping the vision that led to the founding of For His Glory Ministries in 2006.
Today, Rob continues to pursue the vision of seeing one billion people come to faith in Christ through Gospel proclamation and the multiplication of disciple-making movements across Africa and beyond. Under his leadership, FHG partners with indigenous churches to reach the lost, root new believers in their faith, and reproduce disciple-makers who transform communities and nations for Christ.
Rob and his wife, Emily, live in the St. Louis area and have three children: John, Violet, and David. Outside of ministry, he enjoys playing disc golf with his sons, loudly cheering on his children at sporting events, and spending time with his family.
