John Bihasya

Director of East Africa

John Bihashya serves as Director of East Africa for For His Glory Ministries (FHG), providing leadership for evangelistic outreach, discipleship, and ministry partnerships throughout the region. In this role, he helps coordinate and strengthen FHG's ministry initiatives across East Africa while equipping church leaders to advance the Gospel in their communities.

Born in a refugee camp in Tanzania and raised in Uganda, John came to faith in Jesus Christ in 1991 and sensed God's call to ministry in 1993. Since then, he has devoted his life to evangelism, discipleship, church planting, and leadership development throughout East Africa. In 1994, he was called to Rwanda, where he continues to serve today.

John is the founder and senior leader of Christian Worship Ministries in Rwanda and brings more than 35 years of ministry experience across Rwanda, Uganda, and Kenya. He has an Apostolic calling to reach unreached communities with the Gospel, equip church leaders, and help establish disciple-making movements that advance God's Kingdom throughout East Africa. He holds an Advanced Diploma in Biblical Studies from Nairobi Pentecostal Bible College and a Bachelor's Degree in Bible and Theology from Global University. He is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership at Pan Africa Christian University in Nairobi, Kenya.

John's passion is sharing the Gospel and making disciples of Jesus Christ. Recognizing a shared commitment to evangelism and disciple-making, he joined For His Glory in 2024 after first serving during a Gospel outreach event in Rwanda.

John speaks seven languages and brings a unique ability to communicate, build relationships, and advance ministry across diverse cultures and communities throughout East Africa. He and his wife, Joyce, live in Kigali, Rwanda. They are blessed with six children and have welcomed many adopted orphans into their family. John enjoys Christian fellowship, wellness activities, walking, and watching soccer.
